A family owned and operated adventure tourism company, Skydive Jurien Bay has offered premium tandem skydive experiences since 2009.
With a fleet of aircraft including a Cessna Caravan and Cessna 206, we welcome over 5000 people each year to tandem skydive above the incredible, unspoilt natural wonder in Jurien Bay, the Turquoise Coast.
Owners Pete Lonnon and Christine Sparrow have been involved in the Australian skydiving industry since 1994, having worked at and owned several dropzones prior to establishing Skydive Jurien Bay. Both Christine and Pete take great pleasure in introducing people to skydiving in a town they are proud to call their home. Read the full “Our Story” here.
Operated by a close knit team of family and some of the world’s most experienced skydive instructors, Skydive Jurien Bay is the perfect choice when it comes to going on the adventure experience of a lifetime, tandem skydiving. We’re in the business of creating awesome experiences, for us it’s about so much more than just the numbers. Read ‘9 reasons to choose Skydive Jurien Bay’.
We jump all-year-round (7 days a week) and our northern coastal location ensures great weather conditions, even during winter. In fact autumn, winter and spring is the nicest time of the year to skydive.
The team at Skydive Jurien Bay all live and breathe skydiving (you’ll see this when you arrive!). We love what we do, still get a rush out of every skydive and love the energy each customer gives before, during and after each tandem skydive Perth.
Pete is the most experienced Chief Instructor in Western Australia. Pete has been skydiving for 30+ years and has operated drop zones in Adelaide, Alice Springs, Darwin and the Pilbara prior to establishing Skydive Jurien Bay. Former Board Member of the Australian Parachute Federation, Pete has been driving development of the skydiving industry in Australia for many years. Pete is a commercial pilot, as well as Chief Instructor, AFF and Tandem Instructor, Instructor Examiner and Licensed Display Organiser. Pete is proud of his immaculate safety record and is a well-known and respected personality in the Australian skydiving community.

Chrissy pays the wages, so everyone is nice to her. Looking after two small children, as well as all the other kids who work here and the Chief Instructor, Pete, Chrissy sometimes even gets time to skydive! Chrissy has also just obtained her Private Pilots Licence.
Mikey knows everything there is to know about a parachute. Never seen sewing dresses, he loves “Jumping out of a plane!” Ready, setty spaghetti.
If you’ve ever wondered why Skydive Jurien Bay keeps popping up on your social media feeds, or email inbox, or television then you can blame Jimmy for that.
Jimmy learnt to skydive with us in 2012 and has since become a freefly tutor and coaches our regular fun jumpers.
Outside of skydiving, he also dabbles his hand in flowers with his own successful online florist, Flower Bros, specialising in Flower Delivery Perth.
Missy is the dropzone dog. She is a friendly Lab who loves people, especially children.
You’ll see Baz running around the office, ushering people into buses, packing parachutes or filming tandems. A quiet achiever, Baz has a passion for skydiving and parachuting in general. Don’t forget to rate him 5 stars when he drops you off to the airport.
Robin is our smooth talking Englishman that doesn’t mind a cup of tea after a skydive. He is a passionate skydive with a keen interest in canopy piloting, teaching solo students, and freeflying. Does he know his way around a computer! Also obsessed with jacuzzis.
Victor, the Brazillian bombshell will have you in stitches! The most friendly, lovable guy you will ever meet, he has travelled around the world skydiving, but we won’t be letting him go!
Shelby, otherwise known as “Crayfish” (she hates that…) is our local informant. Born in bred in Jurien Bay, she can always be depended on for the goss! Shelby loves her skydiving especially when combined with her other favourite thing, the beach!!
Belgey is a legend in Australian Skydiving, having been Chief Instructor at Ramblers dropzone in Queensland for many years. With more than 18,000 jumps there are no safer hands to put you in, with a myriad of parachuting qualifications, including Instructor Examiner. Belgey has fitted in so well here, he’s just about put Pete out of his job, which all the staff are pretty happy about!
Ashley hails from the South Coast of NSW and is bubbly and friendly and an amazing student instructor. Ashley also flies outside video, and is always looking for an excuse to get out of the office and into the air!
Franky is our hunky Hungarian. The most humble, unassuming but talented human being you will ever meet, he will calm your nerves because you won’t be able to stop laughing at his banter.
Scott, also known as Splitty, moonlights as a firefighter on the side. He’s been jumping for around 15 years and has competed in World competition in canopy piloting and canopy formations, so you can be sure he will land you safely and on the beach!
Lindsey is our experienced packer responsible for all our tandem customers parachute opening nice and soft every time. He is a kiwi but don’t hold that against him. When he’s not packing or chasing sheep he is driving our customers to and from our airport or filming your outside video.
We fly a Cessna Caravan which takes 16 people and a Cessna 206 which takes 6 people. We are extremely proud of our aircraft which are immaculately maintained and presented.
Skydive Jurien Bay is committed to environmental sustainability. Amongst a variety of eco-friendly initiatives we engage in, we voluntarily offset our aircraft fuel emissions by tree planting through “Carbon Neutral” and our new Cessna Caravan aircraft is saving us 15,000 litres of fuel per year (63 tonnes less carbon). Our reception office water facility is rain water in an effort to reduce consumption of ground water and we use solar panels to power our office which reduces electricity consumption. The marine eco-system in Jurien Bay is spectacular and unique so we encourage all visitors to Jurien Bay to treat it with respect and not to litter.
