JUMPER OF THE WEEK – DAWN

We asked Dawn about her tandem skydive experience at Skydive Jurien Bay, here’s what she had to say.

“The whole experience was amazing. The friendly fun staff, the amazing view, the adrenalin, fear but ultimate thrill.

The part that was the most fearful was the anticipation of jumping out, is gave me butterflies all the way up in the plane.

The part that really surprised me is the feeling when you land that you actually did it,, what an accomplishment. You just wanted to go straight back up and do it all again.

You guys made the whole experience so much more. Everyone was so friendly and made you feel like part of the family. I’ve jumped 4 times now and have had a different instructor each time. They were all brilliant, fun characters who took great care of me.

I stayed overnight a couple of the times I jumped. Jurien bay is an idillic spot. You can’t help but unwind there. The beach is awesome and the locals are great fun and welcoming.

I live in Perth and although Jurien is only a couple of hours away you feel a million miles away from your everyday life.

Everyone needs to give it a go, tick it if your bucket list. The only problem I can see is stopping going there and jumping, it’s like an addiction ????”
