Skydive heights: what you need to know

If you’re thinking of going skydiving then understanding what “up to 14,000ft” actually means is crucial to ensuring you’re happy with your experience.

Some of Skydive Jurien Bay’s competitors promote “up to 14,000ft” skydives and they do this because they can not guarantee that you will get the height you pay for. When you make a complaint because you did not get what you paid for they will come back to you with “sorry, the skydive you paid for was an “up to 14,000ft” skydive, not a guaranteed 14,000ft”. They will not even partially refund your skydive. Imagine how bitter you would be after being ripped off on your once in a lifetime experience.

That’s how some skydive operations can offer such cheap prices. We think this kind of misleading advertising is really unfair, not to mention unethical.

At Skydive Jurien Bay we don’t offer “up to 14000ft”, we offer “14000ft” skydives and we guarantee that you will get the height that you pay for. If in the unlikely event we cannot deliver on the height you paid for (due to cloud or any other reason) then we would partially refund you.

When skydiving, the higher the better, so don’t be fooled with “up to 14,000ft” prices.
