“That was the best thing I’ve done in my entire life”, said nine year old Brett.

Brett’s father, Pete Lonnon, owner and Chief Instructor at Skydive Jurien Bay, took Brett for the tandem skydive and is a veteran of skydiving Perth.

“This was one of the proudest moments of my life”, said Pete.

“Brett has grown up on the drop zone from 5 years of age and both Brett and I have been talking about going for a tandem skydive Perth together for years”, added Pete.

Brett’s mother, Christine Sparrow, was also on the skydive, holding hands with Brett prior to his parachute opening.

The minimum legal age for a Perth tandem skydive is 12 years old, however Pete submitted an application to the Australian Parachute Federation to allow his 9 year old permission to jump.
