Two times Western Australian Tourism Awards gold medal winner, Skydive Jurien Bay, is a nominee in the 2014 Western Australian Tourism Awards (Adventure Tourism Category), and if it wins Gold, then it will be third year in a row, placing the business into the Western Australian Tourism Hall of Fame.

The awards are being held in Perth on October 25 2014 and are the tourism industry’s peak awards, recognising and promoting excellence in tourism.

Co-Owner of Skydive Jurien Bay, Christine Sparrow, said that winning Gold in the Adventure Tourism category in 2012 and 2013 was a huge achievement and a result of hard work from the entire staff.

“Over the last few years we’ve made a real effort to create an extraordinary customer experience and our business growth is evidence that it’s working. We’re so excited about the prospect of being enlisted into the Hall of Fame and believe that due to consistent development and growth of the business we have a good chance”, Christine added.

All tandem skydives at Skydive Jurien Bay land on the beach, making the experience not only an adrenalin rush but also visually beautiful.

“Our customers include locals, interstate and overseas tourists and most have heard of our reputation as being the world’s most beautiful beach skydive”.

“We strive to deliver an amazing customer experience from the moment our customers make a booking through to completing their skydive and we believe this is why we have been successful”.

Jurien Bay is located two hours north of Perth and offers its visitors amazing beaches, a vast array of accommodation options, and a relaxed coastal town experience.

Second Skydive Jurien Bay Co-Owner, Pete Lonnon, said that being in these awards is not only great for his business, but also great for the town and Mid West region.

“The more awareness we create of the natural beauty of Jurien Bay and the Coral Coast, the more economic investment there will be,” said Lonnon.

“The region still remains largely untapped”.

Skydive Jurien Bay have parachutes which feature country flags from around the world, including the Australian flag.

“Our customers love this and it’s just one of the ways we make the Skydive Jurien Bay experience more than just a skydive”.
